Born in Uzbekistan to a Russian mother and an Uzbek father, Sean Dilshod Jurabaev grew up moving between both worlds, shaped equally by the rigorous, architectural precision of Russian design thinking and the warmth, craft sensibility, and material instinct that runs deep in Uzbek creative tradition. It is, in the truest sense, the best of both worlds.
He is not always easy to follow in a meeting. His accent is distinctive, his thinking moves fast, and he has a habit of arriving at conclusions that his team has not yet caught up with. People who work with him will tell you: sometimes you are not entirely sure what he means, right up until the moment the finished space appears, and then it is completely clear.
The work speaks for itself every time.
He travels internationally to Milan, Tokyo, Copenhagen, and beyond, not to import trends, but to stay genuinely informed about where materials, craft, and spatial thinking are heading. What he brings back is always filtered through one question: what does this mean for Singapore?
That combination of global exposure, deep design instinct, and a hands-on presence on every project is what makes Luxior Concept different from a typical Singapore interior design studio.
